When school's out for a week, my family and I travel to Palm Springs, CA for a blast of vitamin D and some much needed R & R. If you haven't been, Palm Springs, it is a desert city in California, known for its hot springs, stylish hotels, golf courses and midcentury-modern architecture.
We lodge at our families timeshare & enjoy the quiet privacy of our getaway. Enjoyed lazy mornings swimming in the heated saltwater pool and sunbathing. Afternoons were spent grilling on the deck, sipping hard cider and playing gin rummy.
We brunched and dined at our favorite go-to spots. Including The King's Highway for a tasty brunch with a side of photobooth. Visit the FARM, for an amazing farm-to-table lunch tucked away from the strip. My husband & I snuck away for a romantic dinner at Mister Parker's and devoured the best dessert either of us have ever had.
Besides lounging and dining and daydrinking, we enjoyed family outings to The Living Desert Zoo & Farmer's Market. Long story short, we will be returning next Spring to resume our break in the grind. Viva La Palm Springs!
